Veterans Business Development

To ensure that our veterans receive the attention they deserve, the SBA established the Office of Veterans Business Development. This office works closely with the local SBA field offices to provide small business support. Each SBA District Office has a designated Veterans Business Development Officer (VBDO) who is the initial point of contact and resource partner best suited for veterans.

The VBDO can direct the veteran to the resource partner best suited to meet the veteran's needs. SBA's resource partners can help a veteran start, or expand a business and achieve success. These resource partners offer programs and services that include business management counseling and training, financial assistance and government contracting assistance.
